Archibald lake connects to Couchon Lake and both lakes are 30 miles on length and 2 miles in width with tons of islands and bays full of pickerel, jack, sturgeon and white fish as well as bold eagles, bears, moose, caribou, and all other northern wild life. The cabin was built 3 years ago and has complete plumbing and electrical within. The cottage is fully insulated, floor, walls and the open concept ceiling. The interior of the Cottage is finishes in v-joint pine, wall to wall carpeting with wood fire place, fully furnished and the bathroom have a fiber glass shower and bathroom sink with hot and cold water. Within the cottage is satellite TV and satellite phone and internet access as well as new electric fridge, new propane stove (full size), new apartment size deep freezer and double side kitchen sink with hot and cold water. The cottage has a fully new remote start Honda generator rated at 6500 watts. The living room area has patio doors leading to a wrap around deck. The cottage itself has a 20x10 “lindto” over the entrance door way area, all outside roof area has 25 year shingles on them, the outside of the cabin it’s finished on imitation log siding and all outside doors and windows have installed extra steel frame security doors to prevent intrusion by bears etc. The cottage has 2 bedrooms where sleep comfortably 6 people with new beds and mattresses. Outside the cottage is a new 10x10 shed as well as 2 aluminum boats one 16 and 14 foot and one new 15 hp outboard motor. In front is a floating platform 16 x 12 deck where you can fish for pickerel at any time.
The exterior of the cabin is finished with cedar logs and the interior is also finished with wood. The open space provides a sitting area and eating area, working kitchen, and a corner wood stove to keep it warm and cozy. There is a bedroom with bunkbeds. • This cottage can be accessed by boat if you are able to sustain a 100 mile boat ride navigating thru several other lakes and rivers to get to this location. There are no other properties available to be bought or leased anywhere near this location as the Manitoba Government has stopped allowing any further sale or leases of this type of property to the public so this cottage and location was the last permit given for a cottage to be constructed by the Manitoba Government. There are no neighbors within 50 miles and you have this whole area to yourself for great relaxation and great fishing right off of the dock. Our floatplane flight from Thompson to the cottage takes 20 minutes.
  
• This cottage is built the same as a regular home in quality and is very comfortable.
  
• About 2 miles from the cottage is a huge power line that goes by and it travels north to the Kelsey Power Generating Station that is operated by Manitoba Hydro. The Kelsey Power Generating Station is located about 54 miles north of our cottage on Archibald Lake.
